If your company has been upgraded to a new plan and is eligible for News Announcement feature, you will be seeing 'News' in the main navigation menu. 

As a Manager you are able to send important news announcement on behalf of your company/locations to everyone in the company (including other Managers, Admins and Workers) 



  • Under Latest News & Manage News sub menu, you will be seeing '+' button where you can compose and send an announcement from either of these 2 pages. 
  • At this stage, sending news announcement only allows a plain text  - so no attachment, pictures or video can be included.
  • As this is a one-way broadcast announcement, recipients won't be able to reply to the news.





Sending news 

  • You have a choice to send to all company wide (this will include other Managers and Admin in the company) or you can send to a specific location(s) you manage. Remember Managers & Admin will be included in this distribution list if they are associated to this location(s)
  • Once you send the announcement you can view the sent news from 'Manage News' section where you have the option to view and resend to those who haven't read it yet. - read more about manage news here


Notifications

  • When you send the announcement, people will be notified via email (or via push notifications too if Workers have downloaded the Mobile App) so that they can open and read the announcement from the Emprevo Mobile/ Web app.
  • There are no option to delete news announcement at this stage, however all old news will be automatically archived after 90 days.
